Here's a sneak peek into DesignMySoap's custom soap studio

Here's a quick peek at the available ingredients and design process! (To help you decide what you might like to include, we go into more detail about each of the available ingredients as you design your soap.)

Step one: Choose your skin type.
There are three skin type formulas from which to choose—neutral, oily, and sensitive. After you choose one of those, you move on to step two.

Step two: Choose your essential oils.
There are 11 essential oil choices, including:

Citronella
Clove
Eucalyptus
Lavender
Lemongrass
Lime
Patchouli
Peppermint
Rosemary
Spearmint
Tea tree

You can include up to four of these in each bar of soap you design, but unscented is also an option.

Step three: Choose other add-ins.
There are seven add-in choices. They include:

Fennel
Cornmeal
Ground coffee
Rolled oats
Colloidal oats
Bentonite clay
Activated charcoal

You can include up to three of these in each bar of soap you design, but you can opt to have no add-ins, if you want to. Also, if you choose our sensitive/ultra dry skin formula, you'll skip this step and go straight to step four.

Step four: Choose your label and name your soap!
There are 12 labels in all. (See screenshot for options.) As for naming your soap, you have two lines of text—10 characters per line. (Oh! And if you have trouble coming up with a name you like, there is a “Surprise Me” button on this page that will generate soap names for you.)

Step five: Choose your quantity.
There are no minimum quantities. You can design just one bar or many, if you like. Each bar is $8 and shipping is $5.
